As a student of Marketing at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, this was a project that I did for my Marketing Management class for a company based from Texas called "Quiltcraft". The company does commercial work in the furnishing but according to the name it used to do residential work as well. Most of their customers are in the hospitality industry, government with anticipated expansions to other industries.
The project was a proposition on how they should redo their external image (among other things that we presented). Out of the entire class, my group was one of the two teams that went to Dallas in January 2014 to present the marketing plan and strategy to the Quiltcraft executives. We were tasked with re-branding the problem of should they change their image from the traditional long-standing company or re-brand the image to something trendier. We did a little bit of both, boosted their online presence, but wanted to relate that the same values (like the amazing service that they provide) are still present and we believe that we did this by making the website easier to navigate and highlighting the staff. My team won the class competition.
